This vacancy note concerns an onsite consulting position at EUMETSAT in Darmstadt, Germany. Oracle WebCenter Content Support Engineer 1413011 Job Description The tasks for the Key Person is divided into two main areas ensuring the availability of the operational environments and support the development of new systems and functionality. Operations Operate, administrate, maintain and support various information management systems based on Oracle technologies Document management system based on Oracle WebCenter Content 11gWebLogic Server 11g Document management workflow system based on Oracle BPELSOA Suite 11gWebLogic Server 11g Other information management systems based on related Oracle technologies, e.g Document Capture, Secure Enterprise Search etc. Implement patches to the above mentioned systems and bug fixes to the customisations for these systems including system configuration and client deployment packages, Provide user and technical support for these systems, including handson trouble shooting and coaching, Install and maintain the configuration of the various information management system environments, the corresponding svn repository and documentation of the configurations. This includes environments for operations, trouble shooting, proof of concept, development and test. Development Contribute to project planning and reporting. Implement, install, configure, test and deploy new systemssolutions or enhancements to existing systems, including redesign and reimplementation as needed, following the full development cycle Support the customer acceptance and rollout phases of new or enhanced systems and support subsequent pilot and operational phases Perform the related quality assurance, configuration and change management activities, Document tasks and deliverables according to EUMETSAT working practices Required Skills and Experience A university degree in computer science, software engineering or similar. Extensive experience in operations, maintenance and support of Oracle WebCenter Content Extensive experience in development and implementation of Oracle WebCenter Content 11g solutions, including Content Server APIs, Services, Components and Filters Experience in operations, maintenance and support of WebLogic 11g Experience in system installation and integration in a Windows 2008 Server environment of Oracle WebCenter Content 11g and Weblogic 11g, including cluster configurations, Single Sign On, Content Server APIs, Services, Components, Filters and Content Tracker Knowledge of and experience with SQL and Java Highly self motivated with a high level of autonomy in working arrangements and the ability to apply initiative and creativity in the execution of tasks, Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, willingness to learn, able to work as part of a team and displaying a strong customeroriented approach to interact with EUMETSAT personnel. In addition to the above requirements, experience knowledge in any of the following areas shall be considered a distinct advantage Development and implementation of workflows based on Oracle BPELSOA Suite 11g using Human Task and BPM Worklist, including BPEL Callbacks Installation and configuration of workflows based on Oracle BPELSOA Suite 11g Deployments of Oracle Document Capture, Oracle Secure Enterprise Search, WebCenter Spaces, secure web access, Good understanding of document management principles and the related requirements Fluency in English. Desirable Skills and Experience A working knowledge of French would be an advantage, but not essential.
