PPG Industries said it has an agreement to buy specialty coatings maker Cuming Microwave Corp. and its subsidiary, Cuming-Lehman Chambers Inc. Terms were not disclosed. Cuming Microwave, based in Avon, Mass., makes coatings that absorb microwaves and radio waves and are used in military aircraft, electronics, telecommunications, medical and automotive products.
