We are currently looking for Parts Material Processes Engineers to support our customer in Germany. Parts Material Processes Engineers Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the Parts Material Processes Engineers, you will have the following responsibilities Evaluate mechanical parts, materials and processes for their usability on spacecrafts Analyse systems specifications regarding requirements on mechanical parts, materials and processes Establish PMP specifications compliant with project requirements and PMP implementation plan Elaborate test methods for materials and processes for spacecraft application Analyse specifications, standards, manufacturing and test specifications to demonstrate compliance with project related requirements Establish and release project related preferred PMP lists based on available project requirements Implement approval cycles for mechanical parts, materials and processes e.g. MP Control Boards Approve MP based design release Maintain PMP knowledge to improve performance e.g. PMP data base and participation to transnational working groups Release procurement orders BANF with the definition of required QS Evaluate acceptancecertification for manufacturers and suppliers. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience At least Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Physics or any relevant engineering discipline Several years of experience in production and quality management Knowledge of MP quality assurance engineering according to international space standards Experience in aerospace mechanical assembly integration Technology MAIT and procurement quality assurance Detailed knowledge of SAP Experience in quality tools and methods appreciated, e.g. Advanced Product Quality Planning APQP Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
