The 300 block of Washington Street in downtown Columbus was closed for several hours Wednesday morning as contractors moved cooling tower equipment to the top of the former Irwin Union Bank building. The second floor of the building once housed the private office of J. Irwin Miller, chairman of Cummins and president of the bank.
