Piedmont Airlines adding 300 jobs in Charlotte

The Charlotte Observer reported that the wholly owned subsidiary of American Airlines said Tuesday that it is increasing its staff by 25 percent. The regional airline currently employs about 1,200 workers in Charlotte, where it handles ramp operations and regional customer service for 335 daily departures for American.
