Standard size 3000 Series accelerometers include models with all-welded construction that are hermetically sealed. Along with complete mechanical isolation of sensing element, features include self-generating signal and design insensitive to mounting torque, body strains, cable vibration, cable whip, pressure variations, and heat transients. Smaller and lighter 5000 Series shares same characteristics of standard units but can obtain higher natural frequencies and shock levels.
