Police searching for serial armed robber after third attack on South Claiborne auto-parts store

After three armed robberies within as many weeks on the same auto-parts store, New Orleans police are now looking for the heavily disguised "serial robber" believed to be responsible for all three brazen mid-afternoon attacks, authorities said. The first robbery at Advance Auto Parts at 2831 South Claiborne took place around 3 p.m. Aug. 17, when a man wearing a baseball cap, oversized grey hooded sweatshirt and gloves burst in with a gun and demanded money from the registers, then left less than 90 seconds later, police said at the time .
