Usable in conventional injection molding and extrusion equipment, ProFlex™ styrene-ethylene butylene-styrene (SEBS) comes in 6 standard grades that meet USP Class VI biocompatibility standards and range from Shore 35A to 85A. Soft touch over-molding of these polymers onto rigid thermoplastic or metal components provides high-friction, ergonomically friendly surface. Also, vibration damping and insulating properties are suited for over-molding of medical instrument handles and grips.
