We are currently looking for a Project Manager to support our customer in Germany. Project Manager Ariane 6 Composite Booster Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a German organization operating space flight missions and a leading European operations institution for human space flight. You will be working onsite at the organizations research facility in Augsburg which is involved in the development and production of components made of carbonfibre reinforced composites. As Project Manager for the Ariane 6 Composite Booster, you will have the following responsibilities Managing the institutes contribution to the development of the production technology and quality management tools for the Ariane 6 Composite Booster Preparation of specifications for subcontractors and suppliers Bid management documents, procedures, awarding etc Management of component suppliers Financial controlling Interfacing with MT Aerospace Augsburg Managing the transfer of results to industrial production Preparation of grant applications, project plans and reports. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline Extensive professional experience managing industrial or industryoriented projects Solid experience in building up new assembly and production lines, as well as managing the respective subcontractors Very good technical understanding of automation andor composite technologies Assertiveness, empathy and cultural awareness A structured approach and the ability to work to tight deadlines High level of reliability and commitment Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of German is a distinct advantage.
