With jaw plates in standard position, HD690 features full 9 in. opening. Combination of AngLock® and pull-type designs reduces stress in vise body under load, promoting clamping accuracy. Jaw is rigid and stationary, top-down bolting reduces deflection, and body height reduces clamping stress. Offering clamping force from 975–5,250 lb using 10–80 lb input torque, vise features precision roller bearings and hardened vise screw mechanism that lend to precision clamping and smooth operation.
