Providing protection against unauthorized access or manipulation for machine operators and equipment, RFID-coded STS Series can be employed stand-alone or wired in series in sets of up to 30 while maintaining PLe/Category 4 safety ratings. High-reliability devices, capable of actuation in 5 operator-definable directions of approach with actuating distances of 8 mm, are rated for 24 Vdc input, available with 3 coding options, and feature 2 OSSD output circuits and 2 safety input circuits.
