Rackspace Announces VMware-based Private Cloud Solution

Hosting provider Rackspace launched Rackspace Private Cloud , a new offering that runs on single-tenant dedicated architecture and uses VMware 's virtualization software vCloud. Rackspace Private Cloud is aimed at providing greater control and security than multi-tenant clouds, but also with the scalability, flexibility and resource optimization typical of shared cloud offerings.
