Main responsibilities The candidate will be involved in the support of the following Ground station developments, i.e. support to the definition of technical specifications and statement of works, participation to procurement tender evaluation boards in the role of expert, support to design reviews as well as support to factory and site acceptance tests Technology development activities i.e. support to the definition of requirements, support in preliminary prototype and bread boarding activities support to the evaluation of achievements Preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance Operations during critical phases Some of the activities will require travel to ground station sites as well as to developmentintegration facilities. Ideal candidate Essential At least 3 years of experience in the domain of Radar systems Experience in Radar frontends, i.e. phased array antenna for transmission and reception, Radar back ends, i.e. radar signal processing for plots and tracks, Radar infrastructure. Fluency in English, both in speech and writing Coordinate and interact with other service providers in operations and other fields Able to work independently Flexible to travel approx. 68 Missions per year. Desirable Experience dealing with external interfaces Familiarity with ESTRACK Ability to multitask efficiently. Please note that the closing date for applications is on 19072017.
