RHEA is currently recruiting a Radio Navigation Engineer to support GNSS Navigation Projects at our clients premises in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Tasks and Activities Your primary tasks and activities may include Providing support to Navigation projects EGNOS, GALILEO for signal design for current and future evolutions of the systems Participating in studies supporting current and future radio navigation system definition andor analysis EGNOSGalileo evolutions and GPS modernisation regarding system, signalsinspace design and ground processing Contributing to the design, definition and followup of industrial contracts related to the procurement of GNSS receivers for infrastructure andor user applications Contributing to the design, definition and followup of RD contracts related to the procurement of GNSS future groundspace infrastructure receivers and user technology Supporting the implementation, maintenance and operation of complex Radio Navigation simulation and test facilities for testing receivers and applications Supporting the design and testing of Radio Navigation equipment Supporting endtoend GALILEOEGNOS System Integration, Validation and Qualification activities particularly within the area of receiver and user equipment testing In addition, you may be asked to perform the following Assist in the preparation of invitation to tenders related to ESA Projects and RD activities and contracts technical followup Provide specific engineering support to space projects developed by ESA andor by major European industriesoperators Support validation of designs by means of analyses, simulations, laboratory testing and field trials Design, implement and test tasks for technological projects Execute internal RD activities through design, prototyping, analysis and simulations Simulation and testing in laboratory of Navigation systems and equipment Prepare technical documents on related subjects Support related demonstrations both within and outside of the clients premises Skills and Experience You must possess the following skills and experience Masters Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Physics or Aerospace Engineering Specific knowledge in the design an testing of Radio Navigation systems and equipment Strong knowledge on the design of satellite navigation systems, ranging and positioning techniques, RF, signal processing techniques, and digital navigations receivers Minimum of 4 years of direct professional experience with the GNSS1 and GALILEO systems and equipment, as well as Radio Navigation simulation and testing systems Specialist knowledge in the implementation, maintenance and operation of complex Radio Navigation simulation and test facilities for spacecraft, aircraft, maritime and land mobile applications Background and experience on GNSS navigation performance and spacecraft system engineering Ability to work within a strong team environment Fluency in English How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
