Regulators examine options to regulate Uber

Uber is not regulated in Maryland, so there is no mechanism in place to ensure the driver is not a threat to public safety, has a license or even insurance. Those and other concerns raised by competitor Yellow Transportation are before the Maryland Public Service Commission.
