Reliance Jio adds more than 21 mln subscribers in December quarter

(Telecompaper) Indian operator Reliance Jio added 21.5 million subscribers in its fiscal third quarter ending December, reaching a total of 160.1 million mobile customers, up from 138.6 million in September 2017. Reliance Jio's standalone revenue from operations reached INR 68.7 billion for the three months ended 31 December 2017, which represents an increase of 11.9 percent quarter-on-quarter, while EBIT was INR 14.3 billion, up 453 percent from the previous quarter.
