Residents pack Upper Macungie supervisors' meeting to protest proposed trucking center

Over 100 Upper Macungie Township residents packed to nearly overflowing capacity the township's meeting room Thursday to ask the board of supervisors to vote down a proposed trucking company distribution warehouse. Some residents are calling the proposed center a "crossdock trucking terminal" which may serve as a port for possibly over 300 trucks per day with 80 bays.
