We are looking for a Resource Support Control M3 to join our Modis Aerospace team, working onsite at the European Space Agency in the Netherlands. Modis Aerospace is a specialized Engineering consultancy with more than 30 years experience providing aerospace Engineers to our key partners in The Netherlands. Modis is a longstanding business partner of the European Space Agency ESA, with more than 120 employees recruited from across Europe currently supporting ESAs activities. Specific tasks to be performed Compilation and analysis of resource data Control of the Directorates manpower Analysis Centre forecast, monitoring, analysis and control of all costs contributing to the Directorates manpower rate Development and maintenance of ad hoc and monthly reporting and analysis of resource status Development of reporting dashboards using Tableau software. General tasks to be performed Support in the management of the Directorates resources and technical infrastructure Support in the implementation of the Directorates overall workforce resource planning, competency evolution and controlling Implementing and operating uniform procedures and information systems for the management and control of activities , ensuring proper coherence and quality of data participating in the definition of efficient processes, methods and tools, with particular emphasis on continuous improvement Monitoring recruitment, functional and integrated support, competency evolution and succession planning Workload planning and controlling and maintaining interfaces with the corresponding counterparts in other Directorates Maintaining a detailed view of the workload and workforce evolution at competency level, implementing a proactive controlling function and performing the necessary analysis to support regular reporting and the related decisionmaking processes Controlling the Directorates Analysis Centre Financial implementation of contracts, controlling and reporting. To successfully perform the above mentioned tasks, the following background experience is required Masters in Engineering or equivalent or MBA or equivalent University degree from a recognised Institution of secondary studies or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, with relevant experience Experience in workforce management processes Candidates should possess excellent analytical and reporting skills with the ability to manage large complex data sets and have an affinity with manpower control Applicants should demonstrate excellent communication skills and be client focused They should have proven ability to work autonomously, whilst being a cooperative team player Experience in creation and development of Tableau dashboards Familiarity with SAP and the agencys cost model would be a distinct advantage Highly proficient in the use of modern activities and resource management support toolsdatabases of standard office automation support software packages including in particular advance usage of Excel. About ESAESTEC The European Space Agency ESA has sites in several European countries. The European Space Research and Technology Centre ESTEC is the largest site and the technical heart of ESA. This nursery of European space activities is located in Noordwijk, Netherlands. At ESTEC, about 2500 engineers, technicians and scientists work handson with mission design, spacecraft and space technology. Almost all ESA projects except launchers are managed from ESTEC. In Noordwijk, people work on science missions, manned space missions, Earth observation, telecommunications and navigation satellites. ESTEC provides extensive testing facilities to verify the proper operation of spacecraft, such as the Large Space Simulator LSS, acoustic and electromagnetic testing bays, multiaxis vibration tables and the ESA Propulsion Laboratory EPL.
