Gilmour Space Technologies is a young and innovative space engineering company in Australia that is building hybridengine rockets for the small payload market. The company, which has operations in Queensland and Singapore, plans to launch its first commercial small launchers to suborbital space by end 2018, and to Low Earth Orbit by 202021. We are looking for a Senior Engineer to lead our Rocket Systems Design. This role will lead work on design, development, integration and test of the suborbital rocket vehicle as a member of an Integrated Product Team IPT and will eventually work on orbital vehicle design and integration. The successful candidate should have Over 10 years of experience in designing, developing, integrating and testing systems on flight vehicles. Successfully developed design of either avionics, flight control systems andor software architecture. Experience in managing small teams of people and is able to work effectively as a team member or team leader. Be a selfstarter and know what it takes to meet the project goals. She should also have Good overall grasp of systems requirements and systems requirement flow down be familiar with a requirements traceability matrix, and systems test processes as they apply to flight vehicles. Been part of a team or led a team that executed tests including unit tests, integration tests, hardware in the loop HWIL tests demonstrating the correct functioning of either avionics systems, control systems or software.
