Fire- and water-resistant, 5-bay ioSafe 1515+ is based on Intel® Atom™ C2000 quad-core processor operating at up to 2.4 GHz. Synology's DiskStation Manager operating system enables hardware digital encryption at up to 448 Mbps reading and 191 Mbps writing. Choosing not to encrypt increases throughput to 450 Mbps reading and 396 Mbps writing. Additional features include up to 6 GB RAM, quad LAN ports supporting automatic failover and Link Aggregation, and built-in redundancy.
