SAIL mine leases on agenda

Ranchi, July 16: Jharkhand has convened a meeting on July 20 to discuss and finalise pending leases of at least three iron ore mines in favour of Steel Authority of India Limited . Chief minister Raghubar Das, who called on Union minister for steel and mines Narendra Singh Tomar in Delhi today, discussed other issues concerning the sector with him and also apprised him of the July 20 meeting which is to be chaired by chief secretary Rajiv Gauba and attended by senior officials of the Union steel and mines ministry, besides SAIL officials.
