Role Title Key Account Manager Vacancies 1 for Africa Department Business Development Location South Africa Reporting to VP Sales Role Purpose Develop the business in the Region interact with customers to understand and interpret their needs and requirements prepare and deliver sale proposals and quotations manage and develop key sales accounts. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Become an expert in the products and services of the company. Analyze the market in the Region actors, competitors, requirements, trends, potential, etc.. Identify potential customers and their needs, in order to expand the customer base in the Region. Actively develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts. Interact with customers to understand their needs and translate these into proposals for service provisions. Prepare and deliver sale proposals and quotations. Manage key accounts. Develop and foster customer loyalty by creating business solutions focused on longterm relationship. Work with customers to understand how they use our services, and provide feedback to sales and product teams. Keep records of information regarding the status of each contact and sales opportunity. Attend major industry events, conferences, tradeshows and expositions to represent the company. Education and Requirements University degree or equivalent in Technical Areas Remote Sensing, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautic, Physics MBA or equivalent will be considered an asset. Broad experience on a similar role. Must have experience in Earth Observation market or aerospace or remote sensing Proven track record within Earth Observation market selling Satellite Images Command of English is mandatory plus Working knowledge of French for Africa Market Skills Honest and ethical approach Salesman more hunter than farmer High customer oriented Team player with proactive and positive attitude Target driven, leads from the front. Strong Gravitas and influence. Excellent communication skills. Strong written and oral communication skills First class negotiator. Proactive. Positive attitude. Good planning and time management skills.
