Thorn SDS provides specialist consultancy and managed services into the European Space and Defence marketplace. Our teams of highly skilled engineers and technicians deliver critical services to our clients, often embedded within their core operational areas. We are looking for two DV Cleared, keen and knowledgeable IT Engineers who would like to work in a fast paced, operational environment where they will be exposed to the challenges and opportunities afforded by working within the defence sector. Candidates will be representing the company and as such should be confident communicators with a desire to learn and quickly develop their skillset. A flexible approach is required as the role is multifaceted with time spent both at our Head Office in Alton and our client site in Farnborough. Ideally applicants should have a good education and a level of experience in all or most of the following areas Windows Server, Linux, Networking, Firewalls, Basic Scripting, Hardware and Virtual Servers. Benefits include 33 days holiday including bank holidays, workplace pension scheme and subsidised onsite gym membership employees based on customer site. Due to the security restrictions of a supported program all applicants must exclusively hold a UK passport.
