Snapchat launches sunglasses with integrated camera

(Telecompaper) Snapchat said it will soon introduce Spectables, sunglasses with an integrated camera. The new device will come in three colours and connect directly to Snapchat via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. It will be able to transfer Snapchat messages directly into the app with a new circular video format. The company explained that circular video plays full screen on any device, in any orientation, and captures the human perspective with a 115 degree field of view. A limited number of Spectables will become available this fall for USD 129.99.
