One of our clients in Germany is looking a Software Developer to work on their MTG Meteosat Third Generation program. It is a long term project with a start in the next month. Task Descriptions Development in particular the verification and validation of the Instrument Data Processing Facility IDPF Being able to use the Payload Data Generator PDG Responsible for software development for the PDG. In particular will be in charge of the analysis, coding and testing algorithms. Simulating the impact of the overall MTG data acquisition chain encompassing the geometric, radiometric and spectral deformations as well as a few ones like spatial resamplingremapping and data fusion functions. Your role Degree in aerospace engineering, space technology, electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, physics or comparable qualification Experience in the domain Good Image data processing skills Good knowledge of mathematics to be able to understand algorithms will be advantageous Excellent conceptual analytical skills Fluent in written and spoken English
