South San Francisco: Fatal gym beating may have occurred over flirtation with girlfriend, DA says

A South San Francisco plumber suspected of bludgeoning a man to death with a piece of gym equipment Wednesday may have attacked the victim for flirting with his girlfriend earlier that week, the district attorney said. Kenneth Merton Osako, 46, appeared in court for the first time on murder charges Monday afternoon, four days after 43-year-old victim David Galindo died at San Francisco General Hospital from injuries suffered in the attack.
