We are currently looking for a Structural Mechanics Analyst to support our customer in Germany. Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the Mechanical Engineering department, you will work on projects of the human space flight and space exploration have the following responsibilities Detailed stress analyses of propulsion components as well as primary and secondary structures applying FiniteElementMethod FEM Performance of mechanical interface verifications Assessment of nonconformances. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University Degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent qualification Previous extensive work experience in Production Engineering Several years of experience in the field of Aeronautics and Aerospace Engineering in particular in lightweight structures and FEM Analysis Knowledge of Catia V5 Linear Nonlinear stress and stability analyses NASTRAN Pre Postprocessing preferable HYPERWORKS Mechanical interface verifications e.g. VDI 2230 First experience in materials selection and properties Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of German is an advantage.
