INSYEN AG is based at the German Space Operations Center in Oberpfaffenhofen near Munich, Germany. We currently have more than 50 employees from 15 nations located in Germany and France. Our portfolio includesengineering, operations and product development for the space and aerospace markets. We are currently looking for an engineer to fill a position as Subsystem Engineer Start dateImmediately LocationOberpfaffenhofen near Munich Required skills Degree in software engineering or equivalent qualification Very good system and software engineering skills Advanced knowledge of the Linux operating systems, including Linux kernel Programming experience with o Java required o CC required PythonPerl Eclipse Good knowledge in softwaretools TcpdumpWireshark Bash scripting Serverclient virtualization VMware Workstation, ESX Server Apache webserver Knowledge in database handling mySQL Good teamworking and communication skills Fluency in written and spoken English German would be an asset Key tasks and responsibilities Subsystem design, concept, implementation and maintenance Management of subsystem related projects and tasks Test analysis and debugging of systems Analysis and troubleshooting of operational issues Mission critical phase support Toolsscripts development Bash, Java and CC Eclipse or any other framework Writing of reports, documentation and procedures Cross training of ground control team members.
