Your day to day activities As Technical Engineer you will be providing technical engineering support to the clients technical team with developing and updating documents on Level 1 Maintenance operations. You will provide technical support for their security facility and support with technical documentation. You will also provide requirements management support. Things you need to be successful You are motivated by the opportunity to help clients by providing them with innovative solutions to complex technical problems in the Space domain. You have advanced analytic skills and good interpersonal skills. You have perfect communication skills in English, speaking and writing preferably also in French. You also have A relevant Bachelor or Master degree Expertise in system engineering activities including designing, buildingdelivering, validation and the development of operations, integrated logistics support, and maintenance Relevant experience in development and operation of an operational security center, including the development of concepts, procedures and supporting processes EU passport. A EU Personal Security Clearance at the level of CONFIDENTIAL and above is part of the selection procedure. Your working environment With almost 40 years in the industry, CGI Space is a growing business with exciting projects and prospects across the Navigation, Security, Earth Observation and Satcoms domains. We currently have around 500 members working on projects in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands. You will get the opportunity to work for Galileo. Galileo is Europes own global satellite system and currently consists of a constellation of 22 satellites. It is capable of providing a highly accurate, guaranteed global positioning service under civilian control. The system is still under development and has recently entered the Exploitation Phase. Our team is responsible for the development of the Key Management Facility of the Galileo Mission Segment. Your main base office will be located in Rotterdam and you will be working on our client based location in France or Spain.
