Telecom Namibia launches 120 Mbps FTTP broadband service

(Telecompaper) Telecom Namibia has launched new, unlimited broadband service at up to 120Mbps in certain parts of the country. The new service is called Speedlink LitePlus and there are flexible packages ranging from 15 Mbps to 120 Mbps. Most areas in Namibia currently have fixed broadband speeds of up to 10 Mbps and 4G mobile broadband of speeds of up to 100 Mbps. The country's largest communication backbone network operator also announced that its Speedlink broadband customers are in for a major upgrade, as the company boosts broadband speeds by up to two times for free.
