Telia to cut workforce by 10% in Norway after acquisitions, market pressure

(Telecompaper) Telia Norway has announced that it is cutting about 10 percent of its workforce following the merger with TDC Norway and Get, but also because of more general industry pressures. Telia said it will scrap about 240 positions, including both employees and consultants. Many of the reductions will involve not filling vacancies.
