The FAA announces drone registration requirements, waives registration fee

The FAA has released its drone registration rules, and while the fees are minor, the penalties for failing to register aren't. From this point forward, drone pilots are considered aviators, and must learn to share airspace with helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft.
