Our client is looking for Thermal Analysis Engineer to support a flagship project which is currently in its test phase to project completion. The instrument is a highly accurate calibration source black body near infrared used by orbiting satellite radiometers for Earth Observation. Main duties A strong technical background in Thermal Model analysis is essential using industry standard FE solvers. The use of the Thermal Analysis tools in Solidworks is highly desirable Experience of producing high quality analysis documentation Support technical reviews with customers on space programmes Reporting to Delivery Stream Manager Essential Skills and Experience Very strong technical background in engineering or science preferably a degreelevel or postgraduate level qualification Background in space industry is desirable but not essential Strong communication skills at all levels with an ability to provide solutions Ability to work well under pressure to demanding timescales Strong IT skills including MS Office Enthusiastic, hardworking and professional approach essential. Person Specification Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal skills Excellent written and verbal communication Self motivated to meet objectives Ability to work within defined timescales to meet programme milestones
