RHEA Group is currently recruiting a Thermal System Engineer to support Thermal Control Section at our clients premises in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include You will be providing support to the Agency in the thermal engineering design, analysis and verification area related to the sections thermal control activities. You will be providing support to ESA projects, including CDF activities, interface with the project team, interfacing if requested with the industrial team, participating in progress meetings and reviews, as requested by project work, and providing appropriate feedback on the achieved progress and discussions. You will be supporting the thermal control activities project support and RD activities of the Section in the area of hisher specialization. You will be building geometrical and thermal models, performing relevant analyses, evaluating critically the results and issuing relevant documentation covering all work performed. You will be supporting the maintenance and upgrading of thermal mathematical models. You will be supporting thermal verification test campaigns for ongoing ESA projects by performingreviewing test procedures, test predictions and test correlations and attend the tests if required. You will be supporting ESA project reviews. You will be supporting European standardization activities You will be making regular progress reports. You will be providing adequate documentation, covering all tasks above. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have PhD or Msc Engineering from a recognised Institution of secondary studies University, Ecole suprieure, etc. or equivalent. You have a very good background and experience in thermal modelling and analysis as well as thermal spacecraft design and verification. You have a very good background and knowledge of spacecraft system aspects. You have a very good background and experience with the Agencys thermal analysis tools, e.g. ESATANTMS How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
