U.S. DOT checking Delta's actions in proposed Paulding airport expansion

The U.S. Department of Transportation will probe whether Delta Air Lines Inc. engaged in "unfair and deceptive practices" to block the development of a major airport at Paulding County's Silver Comet Field, Reuters reported in an exclusive. DOT launched the "informal investigation" following complaints from the Paulding County Board of Commissioners and the developers of the airport project, Reuters said.
