UK - The latest report on antibiotic sales for animals, based on data from 2012, indicated no significant changes in the use of these medications from the previous years - including critically important antibiotics for human use and anticoccidials for poultry. For the first time, sales of intramammary antibiotics for dairy cows are included in the report and figures are reported in Population Correction Units (as used in the EU).
