BusinessGreen: The government's controversial Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) programme has faced fresh criticism today, after Labour accused ministers of "stringing the CCS along" at the same time as slashing the level of funding immediately available to support demonstration projects. Shadow Energy Minister Tom Greatrex said Cabinet Office documents confirmed funding for CCS demonstration projects during the current spending period had been slashed to 200m, despite government promises of a 1bn funding competition...
