(Telecompaper) VMware has signed a strategic cooperation with Amazon Web Services to build and deliver a new hybrid cloud service, bringing together public and private cloud capabilities. From launch, VMware Cloud on AWS will become the main public cloud system delivered, sold and supported by VMware. It will enable customers to run applications across VMware vSphere-based private, public, and hybrid cloud environments. Customers will be able to now access AWS's footprint and services, including storage, databases, and analytics, via their existing and familiar VMware software and tools.
