By incorporating load cell technology, VBD™ Vacuum Resin Dryer provides plastics processors with capabilities for controlling and documenting use of material. Controlling resin level in vacuum chamber and retention hopper, load cells operate on loss-in-weight basis, achieving ±0.5% accuracy and providing real-time data on material throughput that is unaffected by variations in bulk density. In addition, inclusion of load cells enables dryer to run batches.
