Vattenfall Loss Poses Risk to Swedish Government Income Forecast

Sweden's government warned that an unexpected third-quarter loss at state-owned utility Vattenfall AB poses a risk to its forecasts for public finances. The government expected dividend payments from Vattenfall for the financial year 2014 to be made in 2015, Per Oestensson, a senior adviser at the Finance Ministry in Stockholm, said in a telephone interview today.
