Veon revenues fall in Q3 on weak Russian market, Pakistan court ruling

(Telecompaper) Veon reported a drop in revenues for the third quarter, hurt by drop in customers in its largest market Russia and a negative tax ruling in Pakistan. Revenues fell 4.0 percent to USD 2.223 billion and were down 0.9 percent on an organic basis. Veon said it was still on track for its full year outlook of low single digit organic growth, after a 4.6 percent increase over the first nine months.
