Woman dead following pedestrian accident in Crapaud

She was walking on the TransCanada highway in the heart of the town where the highway forms the major intersection with Route 13. "A vehicle, travelling southeast on Route 1 struck a pedestrian and the 45-year-old woman from the Crapaud area died as a result of her injuries," said a statement issued by the the police force Monday.
