Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park in western Michigan is opening an exhibition of the work of Italian sculptor, painter, printmaker and installation artist Mimmo Paladino. The show opens Friday in Grand Rapids and will remain on display until Aug. 14. Titled "Mimmo Paladino: Present Into Past," it includes a massive installation "Dormienti," or The Sleepers, in the Balk Gallery's main exhibition space as well as two new paintings.

The Monkees among bands playing concerts at Meijer Gardens
