Gallus demonstrates hybrid printing with digital embellishment

Gallus is using the Your Smoothie campaign to demonstrate fully variable data printing (fVDP) with the Gallus Labelfire.

This is the second time the German label printing group has chosen the modular flexo press.

The Gallus Labelfire, combined with the Digital Embellishment Unit (DEU), is the first such press in Austria.

The press, specially suited for film-based label production, was installed at the converter's facility in Lestans die Sequals, close to Udine, Italy.

Arvanitis has invested in a new Gallus ECS 340, a 8-color UV flexo label printing press to achieve a consistently high print quality.
