University of Memphis to Focus on Drone Research in 2016

The FedEx Institute of Technology in 2016 will roll out heavy programming, research and community engagement in drones and other unmanned vehicles as these emerging technologies continue to mature. FIT, which is housed at the University of Memphis, recently announced funding for 11 research projects centered on robotics, autonomous vehicles and drone research.
