Fanno Pressure Sewer Improvement Project Update: Trail Closure August 14 - September 11, 2017

This project has installed nine of the 19 maintenance access structures in nine locations in the Garden Home area, as well as a pressure monitoring and recording system station off SW Railroad Street. These upgrades will ensure that the Fanno Basin Sewer System will continue to handle all wastewater flows year-round and provide better monitoring of the entire sewer system in the area. The project will protect public health and the health of the Fanno Creek Watershed.

SW Yamhill-Morrison Sewer Repair Project: Construction continues

Environmental Services is continuing work to repair public sewer pipes in SW Yamhill and SW Morrison Streets in downtown Portland. Repairs to the 100 to 140-year-old sewer pipes will protect the public and the environment by reducing the possibility of sewage releases to buildings and streets.

Woodlawn-King Alleys Sewer Repair Project Update: July 27, 2017

Crews are moving through the project area repairing pubic sewers in the alleys through Cured-in-Place Pipe-Lining (CIPP). Cleanout installations followed by concrete restoration will continue in multiple locations.
