Woodlawn-King Alleys Sewer Repair Project Update: August 31, 2017

Crews have been installing sewer clean-outs throughout the neighborhood, and will continue to do so. In the coming weeks, sewer lines in the alleys will be repaired using cured-in-place-pipe lining.

Tabor Sewer Repair Project Construction Update: August 31, 2017

Environmental Services continues construction on a sewer repair project that will replace and repair about 17,000 feet of public sewer pipes in southeast and northeast Portland (see map below) that are 60 to 104 years old. This project will protect water quality, public health and the environment. This project will continue through the fall of this year.

REVISED Mt. Scott-Arleta and Woodstock Sewer Repair Project Update: August 30, 2017

The map posted at www.portlandoregon.gov/bes/MtScott shows the anticipated construction locations through September 19. Please be aware that schedules are subject to change due to a variety of factors, including conditions underground, weather, traffic impacts and subcontractor and materials availability.

Mt. Scott-Arleta and Woodstock Sewer Repair Project: August 29, 2017

Environmental Services has started construction on a project to repair or replace approximately 5,600 feet, or about one mile, of public sewer pipes in the Mt. Scott-Arleta and Woodstock neighborhoods. Most of the sewer pipes are more than 85 years old and are deteriorating due to age. The project will protect the public and the environment by reducing the possibility of sewage releases to homes, businesses and streets.

Woodlawn-King Alleys Sewer Repair Project Update: August 18, 2017

Crews will focus on installing cleanouts and restoring concrete in several alleys. Cured-in-place pipe-lining will resume at multiple locations starting August 28.
