Tasks and Responsibilities Handling and management of a pool of electronic equipment for the ESTEC Test Centre and ESTEC laboratory users Organizing and supervising of calibration, maintenance and repair of electronic instruments including the related administration tasks Maintenance and operation of the laboratory accredited methods according to ISOIEC 17025 Support and advice to the ESTEC Test Centre Customers, ESA projects and the ESTEC labs in the field of electrical metrology Design, simulation and development of electrical and electronic equipment for testing application including prototyping of PCBs and microcontroller circuits NB applicable for the Engineer Job Class only. Ideal candidate The applicant should have a Technical degree BSc, Diploma or equivalent from a recognised Institution or equivalent Should have minimum 4 years of relevant experience in the field of electronic test laboratories Heshe should have a good experience in electronic test laboratories and a good knowledge of engineering measurement methodologies Should be fluent in English Good knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO17025 standards, electrical CAD software and electrical safety inspection would also be an asset Familiarity with database is an asset. Overview The principle tasks in the area will include Handling and management of a pool of electronic equipment for the ESTEC Test Centre and ESTEC laboratory users. Maintenance and operation of the laboratory accredited methods according to ISOIEC 17025. Specific qualification requirements HTS education level Technical High School, or equivalent in other education systems. Relevant experience in electronic test laboratories. Good knowledge of engineering measurement methodologies. Familiarity with implementation and management of databases. Good knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO17025 standards would be an asset. Good knowledge Electrical CAD software and electrical safety inspection would be preferable. Fluent in English knowledge of another Member State language is an asset. Legal and Security Requirements All applicants must be legally allowed to work in The Netherlands. Applicants are required to provide a copy of their passport and degree certificate.
