Naturzerstörung, Artensterben, Spekulation mit Lebensmitteln und Land: die globalen Folgen der industriellen Landwirtschaft sind dramatisch. Das Aktionsbündnis Wir haben es satt ruft daher alle Bürger zur Großdemonstration am 18. Januar 2014 in Berlin auf, um von der neuen Bundesregierung eine gerechte und naturverträgliche Agrarpolitik einzufordern.Schon in den vergangenen beiden Jahren haben jeweils rund 25.000 Menschen für eine Agrarwende demonstriert. Auch in diesem Jahr hoffen die Veranstalter auf eine rege Beteiligung, um ein deutliches Signal an die Politik auszusenden. EuroNatur wird ebenfalls an der Demonstration teilnehmen, um sich für eine ökologischere Landwirtschaftspolitik einzusetzen. Seien auch Sie mit dabei! Der Auftakt der Veranstaltung ist um 11 Uhr am Potsdamer Platz. Um 12 Uhr startet von dort aus der Demonstrationszug zum Kanzleramt.Auf ihrer Seite bietet das Akionsbündnis eine Mitfahrbörse an. MIT WiTrack: Cheap, through-wall 3D motion tracking for gaming, fall detection, smart homes

A research group at MIT has created a high-resolution, 3D motion tracking system that works through walls and other obstructions. From a static location connected to a computer, the system can track you as you walk around your house. Even when tracking you through walls or obstructions, it has enough resolution to detect gestures, such as lifting your arm. The system, called WiTrack, uses very simple hardware and software to perform the tracking -- as a result, it is much cheaper, economically and computationally, than existing systems such as Kinect that use computer vision to track you.
