(Telecompaper) Argentine operators Claro, Personal, Movistar and media holding Grupo Uno have submitted offers to participate in an auction to obtain 4G LTE spectrum, Infobae reports. The Argentine government expects to award 4G spectrum on 31 October. The government plans to award 90MHz of spectrum in the 700MHz band as well as another 90MHz in AWS (1.7-2.1GHz). The government also expects to award additional 3G spectrum in both 850MHz and 1,900MHz bands.
